With the city serving as a host city for the 2026 tournament, summer 2026 visitors are arriving from around the world for the global soccer excitement in June and July. Make sure you experience the one thing you can’t see from the stadium, the city from the water. Argosy Cruises has been welcoming visitors for over 76 years and is proud to be one of Seattle’s highest-rated attractions on Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.

Pre-Match Activities Near Lumen Field

Before kickoff at Lumen Field, fans have several options on the Downtown Waterfront, all within a 15-minute walk of the stadium. Other pre-match activities within the same waterfront walk include Pike Place Market (20-minute walk), the Seattle Great Wheel (right next to our piers), and the restaurants along Alaskan Way. Planning to check out one of the official fan celebration location at Waterfront Park on Pier 62? We’re just a few minute walk down the waterfront so you can enjoy a cruise and partake in waterfront watch parties, live music, and even visit the floating mini soccer pitch.

How to Fit a Cruise Into Your Match-Day Plans

With the first three Seattle matches kicking off at 12:00pm, your afternoon and evening are wide open — making it the perfect time to get out on the water. Whether you’re following your favorite team across the globe or soaking in the atmosphere as a neutral fan, adding an Argosy Cruise to your game-day schedule is an easy and memorable way to round out your Seattle experience.

June 15, 19 & 24 Matches

If you’re attending the June 15, June 19, or June 24 noon matches, you can head straight from the stadium to the Downtown Waterfront for a relaxing post-match cruise. Many fans enjoy walking or ridesharing to Pier 55 to catch a 2:45pm, 3:20pm, or 4:05pm Harbor Cruise. These afternoon sailings are ideal when you want a simple, effortless activity after the adrenaline of a match. If you prefer a sunset moment on the water, the 6:00pm or 7:20pm Harbor Cruises offer stunning evening views of the skyline — a perfect way to wind down, celebrate a win, or shake off a tough loss.

June 26 Match

For fans attending the late-evening match on June 26 (8:00pm PT), the daytime is yours. This is a great opportunity to take our iconic Locks Cruise, departing from the Downtown Waterfront at 10:30am or from Lake Union at 1:30pm. At two hours long, this one-way journey gives you time to explore even more of the city — from Elliott Bay to the Ballard Locks and into Lake Union — without feeling rushed before kickoff. It’s also an excellent option on your “off days” between games, letting you see parts of Seattle you might not reach on foot. We’ll also have Harbor Cruises running all day so if you’re limited on time, hop on at the Downtown Waterfront before the match.

July 1 & 6 Matches

As knockout rounds bring matches at 1:00pm on July 1 and 5:00pm on July 6, fans have even more flexibility. For the 1:00pm match, a 10:45am Harbor Cruise works well if you want an energizing pre-match activity, while those wanting a post-match evening activity can take advantage of the Harbor Cruise Happy Hour at 4:25pm and 5:25pm. And for the 5:00pm match, there’s time for a 10:30am or 1:30pm Locks Cruise or any of our morning or early afternoon Harbor Cruise sailings will work great. You’ll be close to the stadium so it puts you in a great spot to explore and get to the match on time.

No matter which match you’re attending, fitting an Argosy Cruise into your day is simple — and it’s one of the best ways to experience Seattle’s beauty and energy during this once-in-a-generation tournament.

If our Summer Views Cruise seems more your speed, then come down on a non-match day to capture golden hour on the water — running Thursdays & Fridays at 6:30pm and Fridays & Saturdays at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

Off-Day Activities Between Matches

Most international visitors stay in Seattle for the entire group stage or longer, which means several off-days between matches. These are ideal cruise days, especially for the 2-hour Locks Cruise, which is hard to fit on a match day but easy on an off-day. The Locks Cruise is a one-way cruise where you get to see so much of the city — covering Elliott Bay, the Ballard Locks, Lake Union houseboats, and neighborhoods you won’t reach on foot from the stadium district. Off-days are also a good time for the Sunset Cruise or Happy Hour Cruise, both timed for late afternoon and evening when most fans are decompressing from match-day energy.
