Best Places to Watch Seattle’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Spending the end of the year in Seattle? If you’re looking for the best places to celebrate New Years Eve, there’s plenty of spots to catch the annual Space Needle Fireworks Show, and here’s a few of our favorites.

Seattle Center

1 – Seattle Center

If you want a front-row seat to the show this is the place for you! Get up close and personal beneath the Space Needle at the Seattle Center with thousands of New Year’s Eve-Goers. There will be a dance party at the fountain, a live DJ, and so much more. You’ll be sure to catch the sights and sounds as the year comes to a close and we welcome in the New Year. Learn more

2 – Alki Beach

Get an unobstructed view of the Space Needle Fireworks Show AND the Seattle skyline all why avoiding the wild congestion of downtown Seattle at Alki Beach*. This is the perfect spot to cozy up on the beach and watch the fireworks light up the Seattle sky. The show is always weather-dependent, so if fog rolls in you may have a more difficult time to see.
*We can’t promise Alki Beach will be congestion-free!

Kerry Park

3 – Kerry Park

Perched in Queen Anne, Kerry Park has one of the best views of the city, which means it will be packed on NYE. Make sure you spare some time to find a parking as well as a spot to view the show. But trust us, this view is hard to beat!

4 – On the Water

Of course our favorite place to be is on the water! Ring in the New Year with a champagne toast at midnight on either the Late Departure from the Seattle Waterfront or the Jazz Trio Cruise on Lake Union. Both cruises offer a full-service bar on board and are 21+ ONLY. A valid ID will be required to board. Learn more about the two cruise options here.

Happy New Year!
