James Hem

Argosy Cruises Team Member since 2000
Current Department: Operations, Fleet Engineer
Hometown: Seattle, Washington

James started out as a Deckhand at Argosy, became the Bosun (lead crew) of our Celebrations and Champagne Lady, later became a Captain, and is now one of our Fleet Engineers. He’s an avid gardener, enjoys the outdoors (recommends the Ebey’s Landing Bluff Trail hike up in Coupeville, WA), and road trips (the Redwoods down in California are a favorite destination for him). Don’t forget, Welcome to #MeetUsMonday! is a chance to highlight the unique journeys like James’.

What is James’ favorite part of Argosy Cruises? The diverse group of fellow employees he works with — people from all over the country, all with different backgrounds and stories to tell. Each week, Welcome to #MeetUsMonday! helps you discover more about the amazing Argosy team. In summary, Welcome to #MeetUsMonday! inspires us to get to know our crew members who make every cruise memorable.
