Pike Place Market Flower Festival
Nothing says Mother's Day like bouquets of flowers! Go down to Pike Place Market on May 13th or 14th for the Annual Flower Festival. Join 30+ local vendors showcasing an array of flowers and unique bouquets. Pick out an arrangement for mom or let her find pick out the perfect one. There will be live music both days and the opportunity to receive a free tote (if you spend $50+ at the market).
Peony Festival
The Seattle Chinese Garden is celebrating the blossoming of peonies on Mother's Day weekend which means another beautiful flower festival to attend! Enjoy family friendly activities and crafts, Chinese Dance, and more. Don't forget to purchase some Herbaceous peonies to bring home! This event is open to the public, but has a suggested donation of $6.
Bad Moms Brunch
Now this is for the mom who would love a kid-free brunch! At the W Seattle, sponsored by Tito's Vodka is "Bad Moms Brunch". Enjoy a brunch buffet, burlesque entertainment, and a live DJ to start out the Mother's Day morning. This is a 21+ event and perfect for someone who loves a lively party.
Brunch at Smith Tower
If a mellow brunch sounds like a more fitting gift, then reserve your spot at the Smith Tower! Go through the historic building as you end with an elevator ride up to the observation deck. Snap some photos at the top and take a seat at the bar for a delicious brunch. Tickets are needed to access the bar at the top and brunch is only available on the weekends!
Sunny Day Cruise
There's nothing like being on a boat during warm weather and what better way to do that than to join us, Argosy Cruises, on a sightseeing tour around Seattle. Both our Harbor and Locks Cruise will be the perfect activity to do with mom and the rest of the family. We are in close proximity to a few of the places above (Pike Place, Smith Tower, The W) so make it a whole day of fun! Did we mention we added a few new items to our onboard bar? Now order local pastries like cinnamon rolls, muffins, and brunchy drinks to elevate your cruise experience!
