4 Things To Do in Seattle This Winter

As we move into the winter season, let's remember to not let the colder temps hold us down from getting outside and exploring! Since winter is here to stay, we want to help give you a few ideas on things to do in Seattle during this time. As much as we love being indoors on a couch with a cozy blanket, there are plenty of things to do in the city that can really shake up your plans!

1) Attend a Seattle Kraken Game

Calling all sports fans! The perfect winter activity for those who have Seattle pride and enjoy high energy settings. Although our NHL team is relatively new, the team is no short of fans. From now until April, there are games both on weekdays and weekends, with home games being held at Climate Pledge Arena. Not only will you watch an intense game of hockey, but see all the interactive fan games they fit into the schedule like their famous salmon throw!

2) Paint and Sip Nights at Tapster

Another great INDOOR activity that will keep you warm and the creative juices going! All month long join Stir Up The Paint at their live paint and sip nights. Many of the event nights are held at the self-pour cider and beer bar called Tapster. This is great to do with a friend or two. Not only is it convenient for the paint night to be held at Tapster, but you're allowed to bring in your own food and snacks (hello DIY charcuterie boards). Check the schedule HERE . It is a ticketed event with entry starting at $35, so plan ahead and book before it sells out!

3) Go for Afternoon Tea at The Queen Mary Tea Room

It's a no brainer that warm beverages help keep you cozy in the cold. Take it a step further and have a proper sit down tea party for brunch. The Queen Mary Tea Room has the whole lot - varieties of tea, small bites and sandwiches, and delicious little treats. Reserve ahead of time for a spot and feel free to bring the kiddos because this place accommodates for Children's Tea. For more information, head to their website HERE

4) Enjoy a Harbor Cruise

Hop on a 1-Hour Habor Cruise and enjoy the full-service bar on board with cocktails, local wine and beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. It's a unique and fun way to enjoy Seattle from the water! From the skyline to the shipping port, there’s views and history everyone will enjoy.
