Are you looking for something fun to do in Seattle? I always recommend to first-time visitors to book an Argosy Cruise in Seattle.

If you haven’t heard of Argosy Cruises before, Argosy Cruises offers must-see Seattle tourist attractions on the water. Argosy Cruises offer a unique perspective of Seattle, blending history, adventure, and fun together. Argosy Cruises has been operating for over 70 years. Here are the two cruises I recommend checking out:

THE HARBOR CRUISE (ONE HOUR)

The one-hour Harbor Cruise around Elliot Bay has breathtaking views of the Seattle Skyline, the Olympic Mountains, and the Puget Sound. The Harbor Cruise departs and arrives back on the Seattle Waterfront. During our Harbor Cruise, we also got to see the Port of Seattle in action.

Tickets for the Harbor Cruise are $35 per person, youth tickets are $20, senior tickets (65+) are $32, and kids under 3 are free! For $50 per person, you can board the cruise ahead of the crowds and snag a great seat on board. Plus, there’s a ticket option for the Harbor Cruise to be First to Board.

THE ARGOSY LOCKS CRUISE (TWO HOURS)

One of the highlights of my summer so far has been going on the 2-hour Argosy Lock Cruise. This one-way boat ride departed from Pier 54 on Seattle’s waterfront and arrived at South Lake Union. One of the highlights of the two-hour Locks Cruise was going through the Ballard Locks and experiencing the boat elevator! I also loved learning more about Seattle – like why Seattle has so many city parks and how the Ballard Locks changed the natural area.

If you end up taking the Pier 54 to South Lake Union Argosy Locks Cruise route, here are fun things to do in South Lake Union:

Tickets for the Argosy Locks Cruise are $49 per person, $46 for seniors (65+), $25 for kids between 4-12 years old, and kids under 3 are free.
